The BLESSED time has come!

So, it is here! The time that Rusty and I live for.....WAKEBOARD SEASON! Really, we are obsessed...and I'm not even good! We went to the lake Saturday with Dev and Nicole and it was awesome! The wind was blowing so we just hung out in the boat for a while getting all of out boards together. My dang dog chewed part of my new $220 binding off so we had to "jerry rig" them a little bit (we grew up in RV so we know all about jerry rigging crap!). Once we got on the lake we heard a funny sound. Apparently Devon has heard it before and had to have the boat fixed. After much discussion, the boys decided to get the boat back on the trailer and change the oil in the prop. Having worked with Rusty before on vehicles and knowing Devon, us girls decided to hit the local restaurant while the boys worked. We sat and ate a nice relaxing lunch while the boys played around with the boat. After an hour trying to get off one bolt.....they changed the oil and we headed back to the lake. About 4:00 pm we got on the lake and even though the sound was still there, the water was to good to let it go to waste! The water was around 50-55 degrees but once you were able to breathe it wasn't that bad! We rode around and saw some old high school friends of mine on the lake..small world!
